One of the finest landscape painters of his generation - obsessed with capturing colour and light
Fred Cuming was elected to the Royal Academy of Arts in 1974 and at the time was the youngest member ever. In 2001, as a Senior Royal Acadamian, he was given the honour of being the 'Featured Artist' by the Royal Academy and honoured with a one man show and whole gallery dedicated to his work within the RA Summer Exhibition. Fred Cuming is one of England's foremost and best-loved contemporary landscape painters, fascinated by the observation and depiction of light and atmosphere.
