Long Time Gone by Jack Vettriano was published in 2008 as a signed limited print of just 250 copies and 25 artist's proofs. This popular print sold out quickly and is now only available on the secondary market.
The painting features Methil Power Station, a small base load coal slurry-fired power station in the town of Methil, Fife, Scotland. The station was situated on the south side of the mouth of the River Leven and was decommissioned in 2000 and finally demolished in 2011 as part of a regeneration of the area.
