This is one of the three iconic paintings created by Jack Vettriano to celebrate Sir Malcolm Campbell's land speed records achieved between 1928-1935. Birth of a Dream depicts a scene of Malcolm Campbell painting the earliest prototype of the Bluebird car in its signature blue. The other prints in the triptych set are Pendine Beach and Bluebird at Bonneville.
