Design your perfect lampshade
We love working with private clients and interior designers & decorators to create their perfect lampshade. Headed up by Pratthana, our team of artisans create the finest bespoke hand-sewn lampshades, made here in Dorset. Lampshades can be made with fabrics gathered, pleated or stretched and to any shape or size.
A large selection of wire frames are kept in stock and custom frames can be made to your specification with either Duplex fittings for the UK/EU or Harp/Finial fittings for our customers in the US.
Floren offer an extensive selection of fabrics and trimmings suitable for making custom lampshades. We have spent many years sourcing wonderful new and old designs from around the world and a good variety are stocked in an array of colours. We would be be delighted to send you samples to help you decide on the perfect fabric and trimming for your lampshade. In addition, we are also happy to work with our customer's own fabric.
Whether you require a lampshade to work with a particular lamp, or need help in choosing a style, shape, or material to work with your scheme, designer Neil Sherring would be delighted to discuss your ideas. He will talk you through the various options on shape, style, size and trimmings etc. Clients are also very welcome to to visit us at the studio, by appointment.
Floren work with interior designers & decorators, hoteliers, lighting designers, architects and private clients worldwide. Lead-time for bespoke shades is typically 3-4 weeks. Pricing is dependent on the cost of the fabrics used, the size of the lampshade, the complexity of the design and the finishing required.
