The goatskin leathers are of the very finest quality because the traditional and slow method of tree bark tanning before drum dyeing them to shade was used in the process. Each skin displaying a beautiful, unique grain pattern like a fingerprint. Finished with natural wax, this vegetable-tanned nubuck has a matt and slightly cloudy appearance when fresh and new; but with time and use will darken and enrichen in colour, and build a wonderful unique patina.
