In Autumn last year The Royal West of England Academy held its 165th Annual Open Exhibition, featuring work by emerging and established painters. The David Simon Contemporary Award was given to Alice Mumford, after singling out her painting from a selection of over 600 works of art. A solo exhibition of some twenty-four new paintings have been created for this show, giving a strong and focused selection which have been a year in the making.
