Little F. is a very sweet small scale flower print. The colour way Tutti, Italian for everything, reflects the cheerful mix of bright colours. The intrigue of this type of design is its ability to transcend time – a small spotted flower appearing at first to be from the 1950’s but which was in fact typical of the patterns painted or hand embroidered by Chinese women in the early 1700’s for the English China trade, hence the real origin of the name Chintz.
