As Marco Polo brought silk velvets to Italy from China, this classic silk velvet finds its roots in Venice, originally launched by Iris Apfel through Old World Weavers in the 1960’s. This work of art is still woven by hand in Venice today, otherwise known as the catalyst to our several beloved tiger variations. With one spine and a narrow width very common for all hand-woven fabrics, Tiger - Silk - Narrow is a classic, luxurious Old World Weavers design.
